What are the output devices?

Output Devices are the computer devices that show us what we have created or stored on the computer. The primary computer Output Device is the Monitor, the TV-like screen that shows text, graphics, videos and other types of data created and or stored on the computer. Other Output Devices are Speakers/Earphones and Printers.

The Monitor

The monitor is the computer displaying device that is used for showing data created or stored on the computer. There are two types of PC monitors, Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). LCD Monitors are flat-panel monitors that are said to consume less power than CRT Monitors. CRT Monitor is the traditional, glass-screen, television-set-like monitor.

The Printer

The printer is the device that is used for taking data from the computer onto the plain paper(s).

Speaker/Earphone

The speakers and Earphones are the devices that gives out data from the computer in form of sound. They can be connected to the computers and we can use them for listening any kind of sound such as Radio, Music, etc.
